Meet the ultra-exclusive TT RS Coupé iconic edition – the ultimate version of Audi’s legendary sports car

‘The name says it all,’ says Sebastian Grams, Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH. And he’s not wrong – the TT has served as something of an Audi design icon for almost a quarter of a century. Now this new and very exclusive (it’s limited to 100 cars, with only 11 coming to the UK) Audi TT RS Coupé iconic edition not only celebrates this legendary status, but builds on the thrilling five-cylinder TT RS formula with a raft of tweaks to enhance styling and dynamics.

One look at the TT RS Coupé iconic edition and you know you’re in the presence of something very special. Eye-catching RS-exclusive Nardo grey paintwork sets the tone, striking the perfect balance between stealth and aggression. This is complemented by a host of gloss and matte black trim, which includes the front grille, wing-mirror casings, side skirts, Audi rings and TT RS designation badge. And if that’s not enough to tempt you, unique 20-inch, seven-spoke alloy wheels house matching black brake calipers, and Matrix LED headlights are fitted as standard on UK specification cars.

Perhaps the most noticeable addition to this very special TT RS’s exterior is the motorsport-inspired Aerokit. Using know-how gained competing in some of the world’s biggest races, Audi Sport developed this with the use of a wind tunnel to ensure that it didn’t just look great but was also functional and improved the car’s dynamics. The front apron features side flics, a front splitter, and blades in the side front air intakes, while at the rear you’ll find a fixed carbon rear wing. Both drag and lift have been optimally balanced during the development of the Aerokit – improving both aerodynamics and driving performance. The increased downforce of the rear wing and rear diffuser helps to stick the TT RS Coupé iconic edition even more firmly to the road and improve handling in fast corners.
